Proverbs 17:25

A foolish son is a grief to his father and bitterness to her who bore him.

Explanation

You are a fool if the thought of you gives your father pain mixed with sorrow which is called "grief." You are a fool if your mother is a good person to you but is embittered because you are a bad boy or son.

Proverbs 13:1

A wise son hears his father's instruction, but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.

Explanation

A father knows he has a wise son if he listens to his good instructions but a foolish idiot is the one that goes about doing evil and expects that his father should not scold or rebuke him.

Proverbs 13:8

The ransom of a man's life is his wealth, but a poor man hears no threat.

Explanation

Only rich people are worth the threat of a kidnapper but poverty stricken people have nothing to offer to kidnappers so why will they threaten them. Afterall they kidnap for a living/for daily bread.

(1) Back in the days of the apostles of Jesus Christ, elections were held on several individuals and the majority in number chose those who were sent on exile from places like PONTUS, GALATIA, CAPPADOCIA, ASIA, AND ALSO BITHYNIA, where people were dispersed based on the previous information they have about God the Father of Jesus Christ of Nazareth because the Spirit of God had cleansed them due to the fact that they obeyed Jesus Christ and also sprinkled Holy water with the blood of Jesus Christ. So, to such members of Divine Christian Church of God (D.C.C.G.) anywhere in the world, I also say: "May grace and peace be multiplied to you."

1 PETER 1:1-2

PETER, AN APOSTLE OF JESUS CHRIST, TO THOSE WHO ARE ELECT EXILES OF THE DISPERSION IN PONTUS, GALATIA, CAPPADOCIA, ASIA, AND BITHYNIA, ACCORDING TO THE FORE-KNOWLEDGE OF GOD THE FATHER, IN THE SANCTIFICATION OF THE SPIRIT, FOR OBEDIENCE TO JESUS CHRIST AND FOR SPRINKLING WITH HIS BLOOD: MAY GRACE AND PEACE BE MULTIPLIED TO YOU.

(2) WHEN GOING TO SEE OR VISIT PEOPLE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, YOU CAN BE TALKING TO SOMEONE IF YOU LIKE ON YOUR WAY IN AND WE CAN SEE THAT EVEN APOSTLE PETER WENT VISITING THOSE WHO WERE NOT OF HIS FOLD ALL IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AND BECAUSE OF THIS SAYING "GOD SENT ME AND EVEN EXPLAINED TO ME WHY I SHOULD GO ON THAT VISITATION JOURNEY EVEN BEFORE I RECEIVED THE INVITATION." SO, APOSTLE PETER SAW MANY OTHER PEOPLE ASIDES THE ONE WHO INVITED HIM GATHERED THERE. APOSTLE PETER TOLD THEM THEY KNEW THE JEWISH LAW BEFORE INVITING HIM WHICH MEANS THEY WERE ALSO CULPABLE AND THAT HE ONLY CAME BECAUSE OF GOD. HE TOLD THEM HE DIDNOT EVEN SAY NO IN ANY FORM BEFORE HEADING FOR THEM, SO THE LEAST THEY COULD DO WAS TO TELL HIM WHY THEY INVITED HIM OVER. E.G., "TELL ME WHY I AM HERE", etc.

ACTS 10: 27-29

AND AS HE TALKED WITH HIM, HE WENT IN AND FOUND MANY PERSONS GATHERED. AND HE SAID TO THEM, "YOU YOURSELVES KNOW HOW UNLAWFUL IT IS FOR A JEW TO ASSOCIATE WITH OR TO VISIT ANYONE OF ANOTHER NATION, BUT GOD HAS SHOWN ME THAT I SHOULD NOT CALL ANY PERSON COMMON OR UNCLEAN. "SO WHEN I WAS SENT FOR, I CAME WITHOUT OBJECTION. I ASK THEN WHY YOU SENT FOR ME."
